Southern Stoney Pine

We decided on a unique final design to replace the existing cottage footprint with the assistance from our clients. The grand porch entry with detailed gables guides you to the foyer with a view straight through the great room to the water. The partial octagon great room filled with large windows and a dormer allowing in extra light is just one of the exclusive features of this cottage. The interior is completely finished in a combination of tongue and groove with pine paneling, interior pine doors and trim with a barely noticeable amount of drywall on the second level. Large beams were incorporated creating a cottage character. With open balusters along the second floor loft, it allows the great room and loft feel as if you’re in the same room. The custom kitchen by Ron Charlton blends into the dining and great room with a stone fireplace. Enviroshake shingles were incorporated for longevity, providing a sleek look to the exterior wood siding. The large lake side deck stretches across the entire front of the cottage, capturing the beauty of the South.
