Heaven on Bald Lake

This was a major renovation that took place while our clients were still living in the cottage. When we began digging for the addition foundation, we were faced with rock in which we had to hammer out for the addition and furnace room. Beginning with the addition, we added the kitchen, dining and great room with a screened porch and mud room off of the existing. A post and beam covered entry porch was added to the back, providing a warm welcome to visitors. Once the addition was complete, the original cottage was transformed into the master bedroom with a two sided fireplace between the new and old cottage, also incorporating an ensuite, and a sitting area. A low deck was added on the lakeside to tie the old cottage into the new and screened porch. This renovation/addition blends in perfectly with the property.
